The first third is mildly funny in the dumb humor kind of way. You might be able to squeeze out a chuckle, or 3. From there it only goes down. It's definitely as bad as a #2 can be. I don't know why these movies keeps popping up and then flopping. Like how do they make enough money to cover their expenses when it is this bad? Anyway, don't waste your time.
You probably need to be high to enjoy this movie.
It definitely belongs in the satire genre and while I haven't enjoyed any of Cage's later work I continue to watch his movies as I'm hoping for some of his early career success to re-emerge.
Lots of irony that could be funny for die hard Cage fans. Falls short for everyone else. If he wasn't famous no one would waste their time on this one.
The plot is a low effort setup where Cage is playing himself as an end of career movie star needing his next gig. After realizing how low he has fallen he accepts an "easy" gig. Then a bit of CIA, syndicated criminals and finally his family gets involved. Things unravel and I guess the main characters self awareness is supposed to be funny. Like most great parties I guess you should have been there to enjoy it. LOL Like most Cage movies over the last decade this one falls flat. I'll probably see his next one too due to his early career success.

Normally I only watch 7.0 and above but I was tired of scrolling and gave it a try.
Nice, undercover CIA movie with a decent amount of action.
