Such a sensitive, beautiful story. A film full of colors and emotions that can be watched over and over again. It is also suitable both for adults and children. I think that it is one of those movies to be picked for a kid if you want them to love cinema. Ideal for a first watch in my opinion. It is always touching for an adult to remember, even for a little while, how he was as a child. So innocent, always ready for an adventure, eager to explore and learn. The secret garden is clearly a victory of hope over despair, of happiness over sadness, of life over death. Undoubtedly a masterpiece. A must see.
Had great expectations when i saw the rating. I also think very highly of the protagonist. Let's be honest. The first part of the movie is mind-numingly boring in my opinion. If you are the impatient type i wouldn't recommend it. Political drama thrillers are not for everyone (including myself). BUT. The second half (after about an hour) is such an improvement, almost like watching a different film. Thank god i didn't shut down the television and decided to watch until the end. A touching movie, which will reward the patient ones. The ending leaves you with a warm feeling of optimism. Well done.
