This movie does exactly what it set out to do extremely well. It a very dark and gritty post-apocalypse movie about dragons pushing humanity to the brink of extinction. It's very well acted, Matthew McConaughey is insanely good. It's the only time I've ever seen him in a role anything like this, and he nails it so convincingly that it makes you wonder why he never did any other roles like this.
I don't understand the reviews that complain about plot holes. It's a movie about dragons, you don't go into a movie like this expecting it to make perfect sense. The plot works perfectly for the the movie, it doesn't hold your hand and explain every little detail of the lore, it just shows you what you need to know for the movie to move forward and then keeps moving.
The reception this movie got baffles me. It was as if many of the critics and viewers expected Shakespeare from a movie about dragons and went in with completely wrong expectations.
This movie is a hidden gem, just go into it with the right expectations for a dark and visceral movie about Dragons where Matthew McConaughey becomes the embodiment of chaos.

I never saw this when it was new, only saw it recently. It's no where near as good as the hype. I also found the visual spetical of it to be too few and far between.
The parts of the plot that make sense are very predictable and the part that don't have no impact on anything.
It's not a bad movie, but very long for a somewhat underwhelming experience.
My main issue other than the movie being too long is the ending. Without spoiling anything, the ending is intended to be ambiguous in a way that builds off the main themes of the movie, but some poor story telling choices undermine the ambiguity for the sake of making the ending easier to follow, but what it really does is push away from ambiguity and imply one outcome to be much more likely than the other. I'm sure Christopher Nolan wanted it to be ambiguous but some things about the end just are not at all logical for an ambiguous outcome.

It's good. If you have seen other Wick movies then you know what to expect, and Ballerina doesn't disappoint.
My only complaint is that the intro is a bit long, but it's a minor issue. The action scenes are top notch, and the end gives us some nice scenes between Ballerina and John Wick.
The reviews here complaining that the movie lacked depth or was predictable are straight up stupid. You wouldn't go to see a Jerassic Park movie and complain that there are too many dinosaurs, and you don't go to a Wick movie for depth, you go for the high level action.
This movie is exactly what you think it is, a solid action movie in the Wick universe.
