Climate change is a scientific fact. Climate change denial is a political agenda. Fortunately, this presents the science.
This is the worst possible timing to reboot this show with a Muslim terrorist plot line. This show just fans the flames of fear and hatred of Muslims that Trump has been pouring fuel on. It encourages viewers to fear every Muslim as a potential terrorist, and its plot tells us there are jihadist sleeper cells all across the country waiting for the call to launch attacks on America. What was Fox thinking, launching this show in today's atmosphere of xenophobia, and after the Superbowl? It's a horribly irresponsible decision, and it could inspire more right-wing terrorist attacks on innocent Muslims like we saw in Quebec recently.
I'm a 40-y-o guy whose favorite movie is the original Ghostbusters. I don't know who all these haters are, but they don't represent anyone I know. Their claims that the new movie is sexist and racist are contradicted by the movie itself, which is neither. Rather, it seems that these haters living in their moms' basements are just saying, "nyuh-uh, you are!" when confronted with their blatant misogyny and racism directed toward this movie. The poor trailers have been used by these people to cover up their true agenda, but now people are seeing for themselves that the new movie, while not the classic that the original is, is still a great supernatural comedy with chills and thrills. It doesn't "ruin" the original any more than "Ghostbusters II" did, and is a lot better than that movie. I'm looking forward to more!
