This film is extremely poor. The actors were good but it was a typical modern horror that was all creative camera work and weirdness trying to mask a really good premise that was completely wasted.
Why not just make it a straight thriller/horror? Why does every movie these days have to be full of the type of crap we see in this film?
I honestly hated it. All of the characters are terrible and just seem excessive clichés even but American standards.
They didn't even commit to the violence properly, with yet more stupid fancy graphics instead of just showing it.
Marlon Wayans was good and that's why this gets 3 from me, otherwise I'd have given it nothing. It could have been great. But it wasn't.

This is like something Tim Burton would experience during a fever dream. Raucous, ridiculous, silly adult humour.
Super gross, super violent, super sweary, weird af. Great SFX. Sets its stall out and leans into it big style and never lets up.
The actors all do a great job. Just enjoy it because it's insane.

This film isn't particularly bad, it just isn't very good either. It is very formulaic as sequels go. None of the characters every feel like they are in actual peril, and the plot, such as it is, is pretty dumb as well.
I like Bob Odenkirk, and he has clearly put a lot of work into being physically able to perform this role, and I think those efforts deserve a better story. The first movie was pretty good but as sequels go, this is akin to Naked Gun being a follow-up to Taken, such is the silliness of it.
