So many movies today are soulless, candy floss and CGI. This is not one of those movies...
A powerful and inspiring story of a pivotal character in New Zealand's history, captivatingly recreated.
You know you've seen a great movie when nobody leaves the theatre until the last credit has scrolled. Was left feeling that every 16 year old in this country should see this movie.

This is clever, topical, real, totally messed up and a heart pumping watch. Watched it with my 17yo daughter. We loved it!
I totally loved the book and couldn't wait to see this movie. I was so disappointed. This movie is so lame and utterly untrue to the work of genius that is the book. The story has been completely gutted and replaced with a just another OTT action flick full of absurd, bloated and unnecessary CG special effects. What a wasted opportunity.
