What a beautiful study on the human condition. So much more than I expected. Reminds me of how we are all "fighting a great battle." Every day we see such great beauty, and also such incredible ugliness. The very real experince of lonliness and isolation has never been so aptly shown. So many, for so many reasons lose their sense of self. So beautifully well told, with characters who played their difficult role. It's okay fox, we honestly didn't think you would get it anyway. It's so incredibly over your collective heads. A familiar routine, hide the real agenda to promote the fascist takeover.
Expectations: keep them low. This is, plain and simple the worst, very thorough in that way. The writing is: the worst. Stilted, unnatural and the best acting is done by those who have to read the ill fitting, almost hilarious at times, dialogue. The acting is: the worst. Stumbling and bumbling from scene to scene it would be painful if at the same time it wasn't comical. The story is: the worst, it doesn't even make any sense. Whatever reason you have for sitting down in front of this for 90min...it's not good enough, run. Jeremy Michael Cohen wrote, directed and should have buried this when done.
