Any series featuring powerful performances from magnetic actors like Ben Whishaw and Keira Knightley is worth watching, but that's all this overrated barrel of violent, tiresome drivel has to offer. It is filled with implausible scenes and unexplained developments, one of which is how any parents could leave their two young children alone for long periods of time, especially at night. And Keira's character is obsessed with vengeance for the killing of her lover, with whom she was regularly cheating on her husband. Did it not occur to her (or anyone else) that this might be punishment for not only her adultery but also jeopardizing her children's lives? And once her husband learned of it, shouldn't it have occurred to both of them to discuss getting tested for STD's? And the body count for those shot to death must have reached the thousands by the end. The best part of this series, aside from the two leading actors, was that it mercifully only contained six episodes. Next!
The user review posted is ridiculous and asinine. "Mostly boring with many pointless scenes" ?? Is Siddhartha14 even watching the same miniseries? Every scene is revealing, powerful, and beautifully moves the story and characters forward. Also, the concept is not only riveting but incredibly timely, considering what's going on in the US (and, in fact, much of the western world) at this time. Highly recommended.
