Through God's guidance I was watching Antique Roadshow, which I never watch ! Coming up next, stay tuned for Independent Lens, Make Peace or Die. Being a Vietnam vet, this caught my attention. This is not a make a believe film. How is this documentary not more well known ? Anthony is being guided in his journey to recover himself from intense combat. Anthony finds his medicine in helping his fallen combat brother's families through extremely tough emotional times. Seventeen Gold Star families are affected by the loss of their young son's KIA in battle. Anthony is their connection. The camera lens will connect each of us as viewers with the families of the fallen through Anthony.
Big stars galore in this fun movie. I know I am going to enjoy this movie when Slim Pickens shows up. Slim from Blazing Saddles fame hasn't lost his southern drawl. Henry Fonda with Fred MacMurray, Olivia Dehavilan, Katherine Ross, Richard Widmark plus Ben Johnson and Michael Caine. Just a good old fashion slobberknocker of a movie.
I live in Lewes, Delaware not too far from Bridgeville. This is a wholesome family fun movie. Very enjoyable fun loving characters plus your typical knuckleheads in this movie. Great movie to watch to pick you up from a lousy day. Both of Lea's daughters in real life are super actors in this movie with bright futures.
