Some films might have been "bigger", made more money, had bigger stars and higher acclaim by critics, but these are the ones that I found immersive and took me outside and beyond present day reality. 

Also included are films that include ethnic/cultural or historic fantasy that may be factually supported by contemporary oral tradition, though may be considered legend or myth by others. In no particular order, of course, selected of those I've chosen to see thus far.

If you peruse my list, you'll see I like a range of genres from horror to romantic comedies and scifi/fantasy. These are the better ones I've seen.

Including different rating tv series with notes on genre and content of those I've watched, ending with high rated but as yet unwatched shows. Sidepoint: IMDB needs to do a better job of non-English Asian or non-Roman letter spelling named films/TV shows to be searchable.
