....and then they got lost. Maybe it played really well in the area where they filmed but meaningless outside GA. Yes, the acting was stiff and wooden, but that's to be expected in a campy movie - several times I saw the string pulling the cap, nice!
At least it didn't look like shot-on-video garbage or 'found film' excrement, film quality was good and the characters were at least partially believable. The downside was all the subplots that go nowhere and hackneyed clichés of red/blue/black/white/hick/city. And why did the hubcap get relegated to a minor side note?
Oh, at least we didn't have to see guys' gluteus which seems to be the the only skin allowed now.

I just don't get the SOTD references, this movie has no resemblence to it (or any other zombie movie) whatsoever.
First off there are no 'zombies' in this film - no flesh eating of any kind. More like they are driven to extreme violence by some minor irritation, as evidenced by the bipolar reactions of Samantha.
A much better reference for Office Uprising is the 2016 film The Belko Experiment. Although published filming locations differ (Alabama for this, Bogota for Belko) it's obvious both movies appear to be filmed in the same building with sealing shutters. The scenarios are completely different but unfold in a similar matter. One seriously the other humourously.
I gave this an 8 because there were some genuinely funny lines and scenes, acting was good but mainly everyone knows a douchebag like Nusbaum at work and the HR women are spot-on.
A great night would be watching both - Belko first then Office.
And there's no doubt it will be and will be 1kx better!! Maybe then it would be worth watching. Since I need to fill 10 lines of text.... I got through not even the opening scene before wishing it was already riffed, kind of like trying to watch any Tom Cruise movie. I can't even come close to MKB humour normally but felt I was damn close in the first 10 minutes here. Cliché characters, insipid dialogue and amateurish acting. I never thought I'd admire the fine acting abilities of Tobey but at least it was realistic in a fantasy film. And BTW, shame on Denis Leary for appearing to look like Willem DeFoe in the cop car scene.
