Maybe somebody had some ideas here, is this a first try?, possibly the scenes could have turned into something actually interesting if flushed out, but instead, what you have is a terribly boring film!, there's nothing here to see, it's funny, I have lived in China, and known many many Chinese people, they don't like freckles, they safe freckles are ugly, really!, ask a Chinese person and you will see, so I'm not so sure what the meaning here could possibly be except just some freckle-faced girl and a little girl with a lady superimposed in the background, don't watch it because I already did it for you even though it's only an hour and 18 minutes long I could only suffer through 13 minutes, sorry whoever made this and the people involved because you need to start over and do something worthwhile.

Sometimes I think people just like violent movies just for the violence sake, I believe this is one of those times, from the very beginning with the narration, I mean the character seems to be narrating a story of a story, this comes off as pretentious and confusing, no I'm not a dolt, it just wasn't worth it at all!

Here's what I think, you don't have to read any more reviews after this one, if you enjoy being intellectually stimulated and learning something pretty deep, this is a fantastic movie, it's telling the life story of maverick researcher, and you really get to experience what it's like to do research and live as a professor, it's no action flick, thank goodness for we have enough of those, it's a slow important revealing of the mind of a person who wanted to understand why people do what they do, especially if it's morally improper you might say, anyway, if you don't want to sprain your brain, don't watch it, if your brain enjoys intellectual pursuits, this is for you.
