I suspect the script is annoying and the connections therefore don't work cohesively and also feels dictated. The books are in contrast are fun and deliver creatively. In short they are significantly better than the tv show adaptation although perhaps a little simplistic on occasion..
It has been consistently annoying to watch, which is a shame because the book carried me along well and it is a shame to compromise it.

A 13-year-old is accused of the murder of a girl classmate,, His family, therapist and the detective covering it are all involved in asking what has really happened.
I wanted a couple more episodes to flesh out more of Jamie's psychology and how he got there as it was limited in just 4 episodes and also to understand the other key characters better.
But overall, it's a well presented series with the one big problem for us with being not able to understand or follow the English accents which very rarely is our experience, Unnecessary. But we put up the English subtitles that are normally not needed and kept watching to view the full outcome of the stories, Overall engaging,
