I remember 10 years ago when this show first appeared on one of Disney's secondary channels and being enthralled with the animation and thinking Pucca was adorable. But now watching this through the eyes of an adult I'm horrified that this was ever allowed on tv. The entire premise of the show is a little girl forcing herself on an unwilling boy while the rest of the townspeople encourage her behavior. Also anytime Pucca does not get her way she reacts quickly with anger and violence. I absolutely do not recommend this show especially to the intended target audience that is young kids.

I really really really tried to like this movie. I absolutely love Jason Statham movies. This movie has good plot and some really good acting from a majority of the cast but two things bothered me. The first thing is tiny but it's a big pet peeve of mine, if you are going to have people 'native' to an area make sure you know how to pronounce the city. Not a single person in this movie could pronounce Shreveport courtly. And the second thing was Winona Ryder's atrocious "acting". This woman's crappy acting just about ruined this movie for me. She can not act to save her like and kept making me cringe every time she cursed. It did not sound organic or real coming from her mouth, almost like a little kid not being used to cursing. the woman who played Cassie I think would have done great in her part she really brought authenticity to her character.

Oh my goodness, where to start? Terrible acting, ridiculously fast paced plot, same generic plot we have seen a million times. There is no magic, no chemistry, and could they make the background music any louder!!! I am a healthy twenty-six year old adult and I was having to strain to hear any dialogue over the tacky 1980's ambiance music they played. I think this would be an ok b-rated cop show but when you label it something as profound as "Beauty and the Beast" there comes a level of expectation that this show did not meet on any level especially with the so called "beast".
