Okay, so I went into Diamond Dogs knowing it was low budget, and honestly, that's part of the charm. It's not polished like a Hollywood movie, but it has this earnest quality to it. Some scenes definitely felt a bit clunky, but I did get invested in Paul's mysterious motive; that hook kept me watching. It's the kind of movie you watch on a lazy afternoon, not expecting perfection, but appreciating the effort. I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, but it's a fun, quirky attempt at a heist story, especially if you appreciate indie filmmaking struggles.

Some kind of Hunger Games/Surviving the Game (1994) but instead of being good (or at least solid), it's the worst thing you'll ever see. A 3 year old could have written a better script, a blind guy could have filmed and edited it better and Rob Schneider would probably have done a better acting job than that cast. Okay that last one might have been a bit too harsh, idk. The only thing that's worse than the average scene of this movie, is that one scene in this movie where they tried to reference like 5 Bruce Willis movies in one sentence. I'm still not sure what the "BEST" movie of 2021 will be, but I do know what will be the "WORST" movie of 2021.

Apex is the worst movie I've reviewed in 2021. Bruce Willis takes the Pillow Meter to the sky. The equivalent would be you sleeping on a cloud next to Heaven.

Humans hunting Humans is one of my favorite action plots. However, Apex's execution is painful to watch. No sugarcoating Apex. Avoid.

Our Manor is a great sequel to 2018's Jack Southeast. You get to know more of the characters in this, and there's great one liners. Mark Preston plays a great baddy. Dani Thompson and Tony Mardon are very good as supporting characters. Dark gritty edgy thriller that's tied up all the loose ends!
