Is it the greatest superhero movie? No, but it's really not that bad as other people make it out. The acting is sometimes a little forced but tbh not the worst I've seen. There are some cool shots, stunts and visual effects. The main thing missing is general backstory. The 'bad guy' has none whatsoever, the girls have little either and even the main character's history is told in a few minutes. In my opinion, that's what makes the movie mediocre. I think the storyline itself had potential and they could have positioned this story into the existing Marvel universe differently, but it's not that bad. People really need to be kinder and realize not everything is for them.
Although the topics are interesting and important, this show also shows how clueless Americans are about what happens outside of their own country. But, I'm still happy these topics are making the mainstream media.
This story is absolutely heartbreaking. For years these young women and girls were manipulated and abused and those who could have stopped it didn't, because they are corrupted by money and power. I have nothing but respect for the survivors and truly hope they can find peace.
