I knew of Jayne going into this. Loved the story and the heart felt love that went into telling this story. I've always been a fan of Mariska and this just made me like her and her mom Jayne even more. I also learned that I had been pronouncing the last name incorrectly for years. Hargi-Tay not Harti-Jay. My fault for not paying better attention. I loved how raw and honest the documentary was and how she didn't hold back anything. I was so moved to tears by the ending. Jayne was such a complicated, super intelligent, lovely person that got eaten up by the Hollywood machine. Unfortunately, much to her own doing. I can only hope that Mariska knows that she did her mother proud. Bravo!
Such a great film. Kate Winslet really shined in this raw WWII movie about Lee Miller. I've never heard of Lee Miller until watching this movie and the trailer alone pulled me in. Great cinematography and acting by the entire cast. Kate really knocked this one out of the park. So vulnerable and so raw. Lee Miller, as portrayed in the film, was not someone that wanted to be fussed over and Kate did a wonderful job showing that because she is the same way. It's a heavy World War II movie that is truly worth watching. It also made me want to know more about Lee Miller as well. You won't be disappointed.
Wrap it up! Story lines gets messy but I'm still entertained. How many seasons does Charmaine have to be pregnant? I lost count. The actor playing Calvin was switched out in Season 6. I'm too invested in this show to drop out now. Think they got new writers for season 6 because the dialog feels different. No real focus and too many characters makes this all confusing and difficult to swallow at times. Why did it take a year for season 6 to come out? The show is going off the rails and I don't think a season 7 will fix it. Beautiful scenery but it's time to wrap it up and move on from this soap opera-y baby mama drama.
