When are they going to get it through their heads people are done with Hybrids and mutants in this franchise? Also every time I started to get sucked in just a little bit, here comes a corny joke or cringe inducing dialogue choice that just pulls me right back out. Two of the most iconic Dinosaurs in the franchise either have very little screen time, and really nothing to do with the story or replaced by some mutant (again so tired of this in Jurassic). Scarlett J is just as boring and wooden as ever, wild choice to make such a mediocre actress your main character, but that's what they did. Maybe they need to take a different approach and stop trying to get MCU mega stars for their franchise and go back to their roots and get people less well known like the originals. Literally Richard Attenborough, and Jeff Goldblum were the most well known stars in the movie at that time. There was so much CGI in this it made my brain hurt, I've seen photos of them filming in some locations, why go through the trouble of shooting in a beautiful place only to cover most of it up with CGI anyway? The first three Jurassic World movies had this problem as well. This is exactly what I said it would be when I first heard of it, more Jurassic World style slop. I did like Marashalla Ali's character and the family characters, but beyond that, totally forgettable. Anyway I doubt they've learned any lessons from this movie and will continue making more mutant/hybrid, JW slop with MCU megastars. Here's to the future I guess, maybe they'll learn, but I doubt it.
Cancelled way too soon in lieu of Avengers ASSemble, which is unquestionably two steps back from this, great story lines, great music, great voice acting, it never gets too "Kiddy" despite it being animation. This show is always a welcome wave of nostalgia for me, and for it not even tying into the MCU, like Assemble, which is why they cancelled it, you can tell the MCU lifted a lot of ideas from this.
