I loved this film! As a child born in the 50's, there was so much I did not know nor remember! I watch so many old films, I have seen Ron Reagan in many of those. As an older man, I knew next to nothing about him. Watching him look to God; watching him with Nancy; watching how much he loved and fought for the country, I was impressed! This would be a wonderful teaching film for High School pupils.
My parents were not political. As a child, they rarely spoke of anything other than how we would feed and clothe all of us! This movie has opened my eyes to how close the world came to annihilation.

I really loved this short mini-series. Theresa and Helen are two sisters who seem to love and support each other. Their children play together but there is something sinister between them. We do not find out what that is until the third episode.
I found the story to be intriguing and interesting. I kept watching to see how it was going to end. The two actresses have played in another series: The Bletchley Circle. They are believable as sisters--each who thinks they are taking care of the other.
Is it murder? Suicide? Did the children do this? The plot twists kept me engaged. The poor reviews maybe didn't make it to the end? You have to see it to the end!

This was one of the first movies I saw after my divorce! I fell in love with Cher's character and then with her mother's character! Those two women made the film IMHO. I also liked how the moon affected everyone! My favorite part was the Opera. It was bound to happen. In a city of several million, two people who shouldn't meet up somehow do! Serves them right. Olympia Dukakis played her part brilliantly! Family drama is a favorite of mine and this one is now a favorite movie of mine! Two brothers who couldn't have been more different both vying for the attention of the same woman. Who will win her?
