This is a difficult film to watch because of how well it portrays a realistically dysfunctional family.
All of the individual characters are very well realised and some seemingly throwaway lines carry so much weight when you see their impact. The performances are top notch and there's always a sense from every actor that there's much more going on behind their eyes. I am truly astonished at how well the script is balanced between these characters and at how much of a distinct impression each character leaves on you by the end.
Even though I've never experienced anything close to the events of this film personally, it still manages to be intensely relatable to a disturbing degree. I recommend it if you're looking for a film you'll love but will never want to watch again.

Guys.......did you not pay attention to the video. Kevin Smith said at the beginning that the top movies list was based on consistent popularity on IMDb. He talked about Infinity War a lot because Infinity War was on that list and.....he loved Infinity War. He's Hollywood's biggest nerd of course he loved Infinity War. That's just Kevin Smith's take. It's innocent and doesn't deserve the weird cynicism that came out of no where. Like, what the hell guys, chill out. Anyway, good vid. Nice Smith.
