This show aired locally on one of the big three networks right after the 10 pm news on Saturday evening. My mom would often fall asleep with the tv on listening to the news and me (being a huge sci-fi fan long before Star Wars was released) would often sneak into her room ro watch it. (I got in trouble when the six million dollar man pilot aired because mom sent me to bed before the end of the movie, so I snuck down to the living room to watch the lend after she turned in for the night,
Great show that I still enjoy watching now that it's available through various streaming services for free. Second series isn't quite as good as the first series, but all in all the entire series holds ots own when compared to other sci-fi tv shows from the era (star trek, Battlestar Galactica, as far as plot and special effects are concerned)

I was lured into watching this after several clips was suggested for me to watch on Facebook. I don't remember which one coaxed me to finally give in and watch it, but one of the clips did it, not that I required a whole lot of coaxing, I'm a fan of both Alec Guinness and Richard Harris films, at least the ones that I've seen anyway.
Generally speaking I don't pay much attention to history that takes place outside of the US of A, so much of what was presented didn't interest me a whole lot, at first. But it became painfully obvious that I should probably look into this individual with a whole lot more zeal, if the movie is accurate (and cursory looking into it for accuracy implies that he was clearly a major influence on those who put together our constitution, so he deserves much more consideration in US history than I've seen in my high school years.

Checked this movie out of my local library, but I suspect it's available mostly due to the fact that the author of the book this is based on is a local.
From an entertainment standpoint, this is a very engrossing movie, not really a horror in the traditional Halloween or Friday the 13th sense, but more in line with silence of the lambs. A psychological thriller.
The vast majority of the movie is two men conversing, one a psychologist who's been asked to decide if a man on death row is sane or not, if he concludes that the man on death row is insane then the execution needs to be cancelled. The plot contains a few unexpected twists but once you see the twists unfold you pretty much know how the movie is going to end, as a viewer it's up to you to decide if the psychologist made the right decision or not.
From a Christian theological position, the movie stands on solid ground and actually surprised me a bit so I was hoping the therapist would make the opposite decision.
It's a good movie and we need more "Christian movies" like this.
