To the other reviewer I would say that this isn't groundbreaking television or anything but it is hardly as bad as you are making it out to be.

It's just your average TV production, a made for TV movie that actually won an Emmy so it can't be that atrocious can it? Not sure why you hate it so much that you would go online and bash it and make personal accusations about the author and other people involved simply from disliking the movie.

I can'd speak for how realistic it is but as someone who knows nothing about cotton farming but knows a little about farming in general I thought it was realistic enough for a TV story. And I thought the acting was good.

This movie is bad with a capital B and I will also throw in a capital A and a capital D to boot. Largely because it is so bad it deserves it but also because I apparently have to write ten full lines for this review before I can publish it for some reason, and I need more lines so there.

The music is really bad, it was kind of a good idea to try it on paper I guess and I can see what they were doing but it just does not work and just kept taking us out of the movie, we did not enjoy it one little bit.

I myself also did not enjoy the acting, I usually like Leonardo DiCaprio but I didn't think he was right for this role. The whole movie is a bit of a mess. It's not the worst movie ever but considering the big budget and people involved it could and really should have been a lot better.
