The entire cast did a great job, with standout performances by John Bell, Caitriona Balfe , Sam Heughan and Ed Speleers. After thoughtful reflection and looking up the lyrics of the first verse of Ray Charles version of America the Beautiful, I realized that there are many nuanced layers of meaning to be found in the way they did the ending. Still thinking about it after 2 days and several viewings. Brilliantly done! Loved the entire 1 hr and 4 min!
