I had hoped this documentary was really going to dive into Lois and why she did what she did in her own words. The documentary really set us up for feeling this way when we see Lois cry saying she wasn't sure she should do this interview. As if there was going to be a big reveal.
Unfortunately it was a total bore fest. Just a lot of fluff to fill in a roughly 3 hour interview. It was 97% reflections from friends and family and 2% Lois actually speaking about her situation and crimes. The interviewer really asked softball questions and didn't press her AT ALL on her evasive answers. I think I agree with Lois that maybe she shouldn't have done this documentary. It seemed like she did it for pity but it left me disliking her even more. To say you don't remember what happened is nonsense. I think the interviewer didn't want to rock the boat with asking the tougher questions we all want answered and risk her leaving the room.
