I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Bad Sisters, although I only discovered it when the second season was released.
It is a first class dark comedy, where one minute you are gripped by the drama and the next you burst out laughing at the hilarious antics of the Garvey sisters and their attempts to kill their vile brother in law (played by the brilliant Claes Bang) - no spoilers, we see his funeral in the opening scenes.
Fast forward to the second season and the Garvey sisters get embroiled in more drama. How can that be possible? But Sharon Horgan's amazing writing makes it so. Throw in the fantastic Fiona Shaw and you have another masterpiece.
I hope they don't make a third season, as Bad Sisters is perfect as it is and I don't think another storyline would flow.
