These guys and girls are a different breed and I believe these shows too. You can't imagine the clowns the police have to babysit until you see this-all we really get through our crap "media" is what the police do wrong. The show allows you to see their courage. And what I love is their camaraderie-they really stick up for each other no matter what, when nobody else does, and it seems like that camaraderie really pulls these policemen through some horrible predicaments. Sometimes it's just terribly, terribly sad to see what they go through.
Sure, all the things you want in a mindless series with a murder and the family personal drama. I was satisfied with it as being good and leave it at that. Then I gave the second series THREE tries-two episodes, and couldn't get past the absolute cornball. The acting got worse and worse because you could tell this was a series to have a series, and the story was completely lost, as it went into a completely different and VERY boring and bad soap opera direction. First series gets a 6, why not? Second series? 1 star. Bad, real bad.
