Winter is my favourite season. I can't wait for winter to come, and when it comes, I don't want it to ever end.  Here is a list of great movies (and mini-series) that should be watched in winter (or all year around to give you splendid winter vibes).

This is a list celebrating female screenwriters beginning from the silent movie era, following old Hollywood, and many many famous names from modern times and of course by including international movies!  I'm sure you will be shocked to learn about female screenwriters you didn't know existed and who wrote the scripts for the movies you actually loved! Of course, there are more fantastic female screenwriters but I included my favourite ones. :)

My wish as a cinephile is to watch more female-directed movies with strong and diverse female characters because no matter how great a male director is, the female perspective is essential in showing authentic female dynamics!
