A working list of some of my favorite and in my opinion, most influential, directors of all time. Some of the newer directors show promise so I've included them to draw attention to them and further keep an eye on their films. The list isn't in any kind of order (although Kubrick may indeed be number 1). These are directors I think any film lover should know and explore. Let me know if you think I'm missing someone.
