So I see a lot of it. My wife ran out of American crap to watch so she is now watching British crap. First it was Murder shows, then police procedurals and now lo g boring historical romance shows.

Now its romance in the age of Cornish copper mining.

I've learned a lot about 1700's copper mining and a lot about how horrible it is to be Cornish. But I can't say this show has done much more than bore me to tears. If you are interested in how horrible the British are to their subjects then feel free to wallow in the horror that is living under British rule.

I'm an American. We fought a war to ignore the brits.

So, the producers are out of real ideas. They've reached a point where they throw darts at a board with words and make a show from whatever words they hit. This is officially garbage. A waste of time and effort.

Why is this happening? Cooking stations are supposed to teach people how to cook. Do they even have shows like that anymore? A show where I can learn some techniques, some flavor profiles. Some recipes perhaps?

But no. All we get are idiotic crap like thus where we don't even get recipes to try. I'd never bother making a pickled egg salad or a picked egg dusted chicken wing. That's just gross.

The wife put this on today and I tried but it's crap. It's just another lawyer show with a twist. The twist is stupid and not even very twisty.

The charachters are stereotypes, the main charachter is sort of kooky, like most main charachters in these supposed drama series we get today.

I can't really say much more. It's not worth 600 words. It's just boring and repetitive. It won't even stick in my mind past tommorow like so much crap that comes out of the TV today. I get the need for content but really, we need something new, not more derivative garbage to fill time. 22 charachters to go. Blech.
