This was an awesome independent film, really well made and well acted. I loved the story absolutely original and well thought out. The lead Tino Struckmann did a fantastic job leading this film, a great supporting cast, some well known faces compliments Struckmann's performance. But Struckmann belongs in great studio films to really shine and when Hollywood gets a look at him, I know he will get a chance to be a great star. Great movie, if you are a war film fan you must see. I absolutely do not understand some of the negative reviews they are definitely not merited. it is not Saving Private Ryan but on an Indie budget its pretty damn good.
It is a war movie made by the guys who makes films for scify and it shows, really poor cgi work and some pretty bad acting. However there are some good points one of the best is the bad guy played by Tino Struckmann he is a great actor in a little film, his performance is by far the best part of this film. Some tanks and guns but the bad cgi pulls me out of the scenes. I only hope Struckmann will be really appreciated for his performance and get a chance for bigger movies worthy of his talent. I get the idea they wanted to jump on the wagon of Fury but even on a low budget they could have done a bit better, most of the actors really were bad, and the effects should have been left out, if you cant afford to do cgi well don't do it at all.
What a great little independent film, certainly it was done on a small budget. But they really did a good job with what they had. The story would have been amazing if made on a big budget. The lead actor Tino Struckmann did a great job leading it, solid humor and acting, a little touch of Die Hard humor, he will do great in Hollywood. Great supporting cast and some funny little smart comments with a humor ties it together well. it was a low budget indie film certainly, but that being said, the story was good and I certainly do not agree that the acting was bad. I found the roles believable and very well preformed honestly.
