The Residence is an entertaining show. Every episode you want to see what's next.
However, the main character, the detective, is so incapable, so obnoxious, so full of herself, so selfish and so not a teamplayer, that it is just unbelievable that such a person could be a successfull detective. She could.have solved the case in a couple of episodes if she just shared some information. With proper interrogation or just some proper questions she could have solved it the same day.
Also she failed to break the case, caused a mess and a lot of irritation at all characters. She wasn't even close to solving the case. Yet she was brought back months later when the case was reopened. So she failed miserably, but they let her have a go at it again. Implausible.
Also, the writers are just stretching this show out. Like 100 events that took place and 99 have nothing to do with the case and the detective is telling everything so smugly.
Oh by the way there is not a single shred of evidence that substantiates her case. But nobody asks that question.
Basically you know who did it as of episode 1 or 2, just the first scene where they appear, and it just amazes me why the show focuses on a different character every episode, even though you know they are innocent.

The title says it all. I've been following F1 since the early nineties and this movie is just great. It does justice to F1 and yes, because a movie needs drama, some events are not correct. But that's ok, because this is a movie and not a documentary.
Also, I am a big Verstappen fan. I even cheered for his father back in the nineties. And I give me sincere respect to Lewis Hamilton, who was involved as a producer of this movie. He did a great job.
The movie flies by. There is not a dull moment. The story is ok, enough for a Jerry Bruckheimer movie. The race scenes are awesome. The behind the scenes at a race team are awesome. The actors do a good job.
I also liked the quotes of drivers and team principals in the movie. Those gave me a big smile, if you now them a bit and understand the context in which it was said.
Solid 9 out of 10 from me.
