  • Worth watching for Julianne Nicholson alone

Sterling K Brown and James Marsden are great (as usual), but Julianne Nicholson is incredible.

I remember her being good from Mare of Easttown, which is a terrific show - but she brings another level to her character here.

The scene in episode 2 with her therapist was a masterclass of pent up emotion of a woman who has clearly been broken by her past.

The story is a little odd (IMHO) as it is billed as a thriller, but feels a bit more like SciFi - which is fine but maybe not for everyone.

Looking forward to seeing how it develops but as long as Julianne gets plenty of screen time, it will be worth it.

  • What an opener!

Sounded a bit of a silly concept, but the reviews looked good, so I thought I would give it a go.

I was very impressed! Kaitlin Olsen is terrific in it - funny and very engaging, but also manages to be believable with an unbelievable character.

The gruff cop sidekick (Daniel Sunjata) could have been a bit of a stereotype, but I liked his character arc - I loved the bit where he was handed a baby and looked a bit flummoxed but decided to go with it!

The scene with the police siren had be laughing out loud, and I was quite moved by the final scene which kick-started the rest of the show.

I hope the standard is maintained for the rest of the show. Fingers crossed.

  • The greatest scientific / engineering achievement humans have ever achieved

I was born in 1969 when the space race was still in full flow.

The documentaries about Voyager and Pioneer made me want to be an engineer and build amazing things.

I only found out about this a year ago, but it brought back memories of being a child who was fascinated by space and science.

I truly believe the Voyager and Pioneer missions have been the pinnacle of human achievement so far - surpassing the moon landings.

This documentary had me welling up with tears for much of it because it represents the very best we can do when we put our minds to it.

A beautiful tribute to our crowning achievement.
