I loved this movie. Nicholas Hoult plays a tortured soul so well and he has excellent comedic timing. I want to see so much more of him, he is such a heart throb. And Nick Cage plays a villain so well. This was a fun watch. The gory scenes hit perfectly, I laughed non stop. I also really appreciated the shorter run time, clocking in right at an hour and a half, that's a treat considering some recent run times. So the pacing was fast and precise. I will probably go back and watch it again! This movie felt like a breath of fresh air. I really needed a good laugh, and this lighthearted take on a classic hit the spot!
I hope this doesn't get cancelled. First episode had me laughing. I never saw the original so I'm watching with fresh eyes. I think the characters already have chemistry. And what is up with everyone hating on laugh tracks? I think sometimes they have their place. I must be an anomaly because I actually like to hear other peoples laughter. It's comforting to me. No, it does not insult my intelligence. Don't get me wrong, I like comedies with out the laugh tracks too, but this form of comedy is a classic and sometimes it's ok to zone out and enjoy something. Please keep making this show! We need more sitcoms!
I sobbed. So happy to watch my beloved Black Widow reconcile her past, and I love that we meet her family. So good. Anyone who says this is boring is crazy. Entertaining from start to finish. Seeing all the other widows was so cool, David harbor was great too. I really was left with the true heartbreak of what it means to become a widow, and through all that, our heroine still has an amazing capacity to love. Scarlet Johansson acted the hell out of that nerve severing scene! I love her so much, my favorite avenger. She sacrificed just as much as tony stark, she deserved god-like reverence as well. This movie came close to that for me, and I sobbed like a baby.
