If you are looking for a formidable movie, it is not. BUT if you are looking for a very nice movie with amazing artistic direction : you got it.
To describe this :
the visual effects and the ambiance are really really close of short movies and many video clips done by : Seth Ickerman like : Blood machine or Blood For The Blood god, Turbo killer and so on.
And it have a very large touch of : RED by a thousand suns
well i really LOVE this kind of visuals then obviously i am not alone ;)
to be honest the visuals are stunning, the vfx are excellent, the people behind the camera know their work, the work on the lighting is amazing i really insist AMAZING !
Unfortunately the movie is predictable and the plot already seen 20 times BUT IT STAY A NICE MOVIE.

- script is 5/10
- acting is 8/10
- rea is 8/10
- pace is 5/10
- special effects are 8/10
- sound effects : 8/10
- musics 8/10

I was traumatized lol, in a good way.
Since this day, werewolves movies are my jam. I watch them all, many times.
FOR ONCE !! We have someone who understand what is a MUTATION not a transformation.
FOR ONCE !! We have someone behind the camera who want to make the makeup and the special effects invisible, and it work like a charm.
This is the first time in any werewolves movie you will see the mutation by the eye of the victim. And it is a genius idea!
FOR ONCE since howling, we are into the horror, not into the sfx of the 30 scd flat transformation, or stupid stories.
Here you got a cold real hardcore simple story about the worst nightmare possible for a family. And is works !
If you are looking for the trashes the last 20 years gives us like : the last werewolves movies with frank grilo who was awful, or diamond skin vampire or werewolves teenagers well go away, it is not for you.
BUT if you are looking for a real horror movie with plenty of good ideas with werewolves, you are at the right place.
And by the way i know why ppl said : "it is too safe" or "take no risk" try to understand the movie before waiting for something already seen 20 times, seriously.
No they will not transform and eat 50 peoples in this movie and you know what : GOOD. Horror is not about the number of victims, the action or 200 liters of blood per hour... horror is about ambiance. And how to manage it.
And for once, it was brilliant.
