Christmas time is a special time of the year. For many of us it is the best time of the year. In this film that is true for Kathie the young widow who owns "Dream Cycle". The store she just opened with her husband less than a year ago. He died and the business is now struggling.
In the same town is Tim. He is a single guy who gave up on 401k and office work to live his dream. He runs/owns a Christmas tree lot with hopes of something bigger. His dream is to own a place where "Christmas can be celebrated all year long". Tim however is just getting over a break up. He meets Kathy one day on his lot. They click but both are afraid to admit it.
By chances they run into one another ice skating. They become friends but both are like teenagers. Afraid of being hurt and slightly haunted by a past relationship.
The ending is what you expect (AND LET'S FACE YOU WANT THIS TYPE OF ENDING) but everything that happens in this is how most people would react in real life. I love the fact everyone here makes mistakes and learns from them. I also love it that nobody is called "Stupid" for acting (or reacting) a certain way".
IF they ever did a follow up film I would have Tim and Kathie trying to bring more "Christmas Joy" to the town they live in. And along the way they there dreams come 100% true.

This is film is a blender. It blends story elements from "It's A Wonderful Life" and "A Christmas Carol" and adds a Cosby star. The results an over ingredient film that has too much off everything and not enough flavor of anything else to make you want to sample more.
In this movie a spoiled brat must make up some school assignments or she will fail. An Angel in Training is sent down to earth to make sure she gets on the correct path or "He ends up in Limbo"
This film ends up becoming a huge mess and even a bigger bore. The cast could have delivered a great product but they need a better screenplay. AVOID!

"The Institute Of The Higher Mind" is the name of the religion that is the central focus of this television series. Obviously that they use that name instead of "The Church of Scientology".
In general this show is about a well know Hollywood Celebrity who just broke up with his girlfriend. "The Institute Of The Higher Mind" however holds fake auditions for a film which is actually an audition to be the girlfriend of "The Institutes" most famous member.
The show is based on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes real life. This show however needs to tighten its grip on the story lines. There is way too many people to keep track off.
Josh Henderson is okay in the starring role but his acting range (so far) is as limited Tom Cruise's.
What could of been a great show is muddled by "E". The show is not edgy because in reality they don't want Tom Cruise mad at them . If he is mad he will never have anything to do for the "E" Channel. That includes any type of interviews. That includes sit down interviews or stopping on a red carpet and granting one. He can also get the co- stars of his films NOT to do "E" when it comes to promoting a film.
Next year I hope "The Arrangement" will have a more central focus.
