Mockumentary comedies have grown so formulaic that you'll see the tropes from episode one. They shoved a will-they won't-they down our throats from the GET GO. I barely know this people and now I have to watch them acting awkward around each other. Everybody seems to act like the star of the show. Everybody acts like they're superior to their work. There's nothing regular about this people.
You brought Oscar back but relegated him to the sidelines. What was the point of that? He was underutilized in the office, but to bring him back only to have him be a sideshow character is honestly disappointing.
THE ONLY GOOD THING ON THIS SHOW IS ESMERALDA! SHE'S THE ONLY ORIGINAL CHARACTER. Keep her and get rid of the girl, who as Esmeralda puts it, was named after an animal. Go girl! Beautiful funny woman with impeccable style and taste.

FROM THE GET GO I couldn't stand Nic Cage's character. How am I supposed to feel bad for this dude when he is not even helping himself? Why is he planning on buying a house he can't afford? Why is he wasting valuable time sitting around? Why is he subjecting himself to this indignation? I mean all the bad things that happened to him in the beginning where stuff he allowed to happen to him. He is in the enemy's territory and he let his guard down. He doesn't even carry cash on him, or snacks and water for later. He needed to fix himself up. No wonder his wife left him and his son has no respect for him.
If you're used to listening to and reading old science fiction stories, then this one is right up your alley. It's a basic story that perhaps could've been half an hour shorter. A scientist's life is upended by his wayward hussy brother. A man who can't keep a steady job, but is good at stealing his brother's girlfriends. His return into his brother's life is what sets everything in motion, and in that I mean disarray. He was a respectable man who had a workwife who was soon going to be his reallife wife, but all that changes when he took his brother with him on his date. He became the third wheel. Not once in the film does he blame his brother for ruining his life.
