This might be my Cruella time to shine and commenting on western's C-rated movie. I was casually looking for a new high-rated movies in 2025 and especially for a horror-thriller genre, but turns out this movie is a kind of cheapskates with a poorly executed movie that I've ever seen in the entire horror trailer genre for western league. I think Helloween should see the original Halloween that you all originated from, and particularly for the clown, you played it like a Bill Skarsgård wannabe. Outside the cringe trio of the mother and two daughters in this film, the clown should've learned more to get into his character and to build the organic character which could only been done outside of your comfort zone. For the plot itself, all the conversations that thrown everywhere in all places with no plots? Those are the most boring and cringiest scenes I've ever witnessed among horror genres in 2025. Comparing this movie to the previously and profoundly presented the Weapon (2025) and Bring Her Back (2025), so long and so forth, this movie is a bad bad list to wrapped-up 2025 horror geeks. It's such a downgrade of horror lists as if we're dragged back into 1990s or twin 2000s B-rated films that is poorly written, poorly directed, and poor character development. I think it's fine to say don't waste your time being curious about what this movie could bring, because it's just going to give you the most cringiest feeling you've ever felt in the bright afternoon during lunchtime. That's all.
And that was the longest, irresponsible, and unregrettable title I've ever written.
This film (might have) firstly intended to capture a rich, famous, old rich family drama -which is nothing else than mental issues caused by physical insecurities and perfect-oriented behavior.
BUT, in capital and bold, BUT..this film was captured in the cringiest, ugliest, most awkward form you'll ever imagined, rather than it's general focus on the "psychological drama / mystery / horror (religious touch)" or whatever the hell the team was trying to capture.
It was so fabricated in the way you (film geeks) can easily know where this particular idea was coming from, where you've seen this scenes before, in what film have you watched this conversation before, so on and so forth.
One more cringiest thing I wanna write about this film is..despite of their family background and whatever the hell their attitude came for my nerve, this film took place in Indonesia and capturing Indonesian "rich" family issues (who married a cinderella from a village with her problematic mother)..and that kid (daughter) barely used Indonesian language in a rather unusual setting and unnecessary conversation with the whole film throughout.
For me, this looks as if they initially tried to recycle the "Hidayah" kind of film that took place in 2025 era, with a more highly rich and (wannabe) respected family setting, added by a 180º degree different touch of religion and belief. No offense
Other than the ideas and reality I'd have to watch in a longest 1h 50m crappy film like this, the emotionless characters, weak-willed husband (father) living with 3 alpha girls, a yapping and too controlling grandmother (mother in law), and unrequited MUA who suddenly become the fortune-teller of the film's ending? This film is just wasting your time if you're watching it intentionally. Even if I watched it with a 1.5x speed on Netflix, this gave no values, meaning, nor brand new feelings towards the characters or both the story itself.
Try again, never.

Uh huh, "Haunted Apartment: Miss K" - more like "Haunted My Brain with Regret." Seriously, this movie is a train wreck from start to finish. The character development? Non-existent. Everyone felt like a cardboard cutout, and I couldn't care less about their fates. The synopsis promised some spooky thrills, but what I got was a confusing mess of bad decisions and even worse execution. The production and direction looked like they were done by someone's nephew with a camcorder - cheap, sloppy, and just plain ugly.
And don't even get me started on that "plot twist." It wasn't a twist; it was a slap in the face with a crafted mask made in the middle of nowhere with non-historical myth to be curious about. Completely nonsensical and ruined any shred of coherence the story *might* have had. As for the casting, yikes. It felt like they just pulled names out of a hat. No chemistry, no believable performances, just a collection of people trying to act scared and failing miserably. Save yourself the headache and skip this one. Seriously, it's not even "so bad it's good," it's just bad.
