  • Can't believe this one is in the top

Previous episode felt like they didn't know what to come up with so they introduced an alien that worked before, only to completely turn the plot of that first episode upside down.

Harry was acting tough and cool, and angry, but it wasn't that good.

Beside from a small plot twist at the end which was kind of interesting the whole episode I felt like it was clear what they were going to do. If I would have to tell someone this story it would be a few lines long, and those few lines were stretched for almost the entire episode.

And the idea of the theme for this episode is something that also feels like visited too often in Star Trek.

That is as much as I can say without spoilers. If I could fix my previous mistakes I would send my drone girlfriend a message: skip this one.

  • Unpleasant to watch

I have a dislike for any Kazon episode except the first. In Caretacker they didn't even have water. In that episode with Kazon Nog Chakote was so confident when batteling the Kazons.

But then there are episodes where Voyager is easily at the brink of destruction, crew is easily overtaken.

I used to watch this on TV, but now that I rewatch on DVD and I am more aware of everything that is happening and has happened I really dislike some of the episodes, including this one.

BTW, Tom Paris previously landed a Starship as big as Voyager for the first time (!) and he's an elite pilot, all his skills were needed. But Kazons...

Then there's the thing that everybody points out, if Voyager is going back to the Alpha Quadrant at heavy speed (isn't Voyager one of the fastest starships with a max of warp 9.8?) why do the Kazons keep up with them all this time?

And last point of annoyance, why not include the Talaxions in their plans from the get go?

Can't wait for the better episodes to come.

  • Doesn't make sense

I don't like the Kazon story arc at all. Would be best if they didn't return after Caretaker.

I'm rewatching all episodes, now that I'm older, and I don't have to wait a week for the next one to air. And I remember the previous episode with Kazons. Where Chakotay is in his shuttle, shields are holding, he warns the Kazon ship multiple times, and then takes it out with only ONE phaser hit.

They are impressed by the Federation's scanners, they don't have teleporters, they don't have replicators. But now all of a sudden 1) Voyager almost gets destroyed, 2) the crew is in fear of Kazons.

Would have been best if they wanted to form an alliance because the Kazons keep bugging them, not that they will get destroyed.

And if we go with they will get destroyed and they NEED to make an alliance than the end of this episode doesn't make sense either.
