Rat-faced Edward Mimms scrooges things up for Christmas. Mimms plays the big rich rancher in the middle of nowhere, and all the people in the small town depend on him for work.
So nasty Binns decides to kill off a small tribe of native Americans that he blames for kidnapping his son years ago, the town's menm have to get their guns and go on a massacre for Christmas, or else lose their jobs for Christmas.
Binns is not a very nice person. He even complains to the ranch foreman (Don Beddoe) that the families are eating too good for Christmas dinner. Binns tells Beddoe that he will deduct it from his salary. Binns has no Christmas spirit at all.
When Binns and the town's men all get loaded to kill the Indians, Palladin vows to stop them, and gets his gun. At that point, one of the town's elder ladies says to him, if this is Christmas, don't you have enough faith to leave your guns behind?
When Palladin agrees, and leaves his guns at the church dinner, it is a high point. He is willing to get killed unarmed, to stop the massacre of the Indians.
To say more would ruin the story. It may not be realistic, but it is great drama, and a passion tale of faith, love, and family.

This episode was more awful than the end of last season. I was hoping it would hit the ground running with the new guy, Hemsworth, but It seemed more confusing than ever. All the characters are off on their own tangents. It is a mess.
What's going on? Who knows. Mostly talk and soap opera drama. The first season of the Witcher was a great action TV series. I have seen it several times.
Second season was great, but by then too many characters and story lines diluted the Witcher into a supporting character of a soap opera of witches and warlocks fighting for power.
Now we get this, which is a full time soap opera drama. Maybe five minutes of action. You really need a scorecard to understand what is going on.

Tons of CGI action that just got my eyes tired. Predator loses all his gear when he makes camp in the middle of a nest of CGI plant monsters that are faster than vipers.
The rest of the movie, we are watching a mostly naked lizard / Predator fighting the planet's killer creatures. I was wondering if the Geico gecko was going to make a cameo.
The other main character is Dakota Fanning, playing some kind of android that got chopped in half. Predator spends most of the movie carrying her around on his back, and exchanging humor.
Predator is down to this, being treated more like a real "human" character but still a gnarly lizard. The suspense and scares that came in the first two Predator movies are gone. It is just CGI video game style action.
