This show is honestly abysmal. I haven't seen much of the original PPG, but I don't really need to to say that the original was much better. MUCH better. In fact, PPG2016 is quite possibly my least favorite cartoon I've seen in awhile, and that includes TTG. At least TTG understands that it's terrible (although they really shouldn't show that in their episodes), and at least TTG can poke fun at morals. PPG2016 is just pop culture references and unironic morals. Basically, take the worst part out of We Bare Bears (the modern pop culture jokes) and the morals out of one of those TV commercials that would tell you about the dangers of smoking or not going outside or something along those lines. Then, put both of those together, and you have PPG2016. There are also a load of animation errors. Like, there's a LOT. I haven't seen so many errors in a cartoon since the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, which was a show from the 80's. Also, would it have hurt to get the original Powerpuff Girls back? I mean, they've managed to get every other cast member back, why couldn't they get the three main characters? They already had Tara Strong voicing Raven for TTG, why couldn't she voice Bubbles? They also made unnecessary cuts from the show, such as cutting Ms. Bellum for no legitimate reason.

All in all, the only reason I would ever have PPG2016 on is just because I don't want to miss whatever show comes on after (except TTG).

Did they REALLY make a crossover of two of the most despised shows CN has ever made? PPG2016 was only 2 months old by the time this came out, how was this s*** made already?

First off, the episode takes on the style of a TTG episode, and while TTG's art style is unappealing, at least they didn't go with PPG2016's art style, because then it would be a hell of a lot more awful.

Second, the comedy is exactly what you would expect from a TTG or PPG2016 episode. In fact, right off the bat, the introduction to TTG's world is Beast Boy farting the alphabet. So that's already a bad sign. They also go off of Robin being a nutcase by having him be the only person who can hear the narrator, for some reason.

And despite the episode being called "TTG v PPG," no actual fight goes on between them. The closest thing there is to a fight is a dispute on which superhero team is better, then they immediately team up to stop Mojo Jojo and his army of monkeys. Also, Beast Boy and Cyborg went with Mojo because he's a monkey or something.

Also, I almost forgot to mention: There is no legitimate reasoning as to why they're crossing worlds, other than MoJo creates a device that takes everyone to TTG's world, and what really annoys me is that Blossom straight out says they've been transported into another universe. The fun of previous CN crossovers was that they didn't need to cross through dimensions or whatever to crossover. Instead, they were already available in the same universe, which could give young viewers the wonder of how two worlds could already exist in the same universe.

The worst thing about this? The fact that they already had Tara Strong recording for Raven, yet they didn't have her voice Bubbles.

When I saw this show on a commercial back in summer 2013, I had high hopes for it...when it was released, it was bad. BUT, the show has gotten much better. People shouldn't look for the bad episodes of a series, they should look for the good ones, and this show has a lot of both. I really didn't like Belly Bros. too much, but I really liked the internet troll episode.

So, is the show perfect? Far from it.

Is it good or at least worth it? Absolutely. At least see some episodes of the show before you decide to base your opinion based off of all the hate the show gets.
