I was actually really surprised when I read that this film bombed. I've never seen Flash before so I'm not a fanboy. I did however see Michael Keaton in the OG Batman and this film brought back the memories and the excitement of proper super hero movies being made again.

Great cameos all the way through, especially the last one.

I would definitely pay to see the follow up movie but that's never going to happen.

Sad to see that Ezra Miller has had problems since filming this - he comes across as a charismatic character and really holds his own against the heavyweight superheroes in the film.

Far far better than the last Zod movie - watching two invincibles smashing each other for twenty, thirty minutes was dull. Tom and Jerry did that better.

Anyway - ignore the reception the film got and take a chance. That's two hours flown by.

A few stunts happened. A bit of plot and then they just ran out of story.

The first one was an excellent watch. This one introduced some great characters and then just faded away. Centuries long hatred was overcome in minutes.

It'd be annoying if it was a TV series but in a film - this has delusions of being the penultimate Mission Impossible. It's really not.

Shame.

Good to see Uma Thurman putting her fighting skills from Kill Bill to good use. She could have brought her yellow jumpsuit along and saved them some budget.

And I don't know if it's just Charlize Theron being so beautiful but she really looks computer generated on a few shots. Absolutely flawless.

Which is more than you can say of this film.
