This movie achieves one unexpected result. Whilst watching, it's impossible not to feel the torment and anguish of the prison inmates. But not because the acting is so authentic, or the plot so convincing. It's because watching the movie is a traumatic sensory overload. There is nothing moderately enjoyable either visually or audibly. The sound track should be used the CIA for interogations. The cinematography and effects departments seemed to be competing with each other to see who could create the most pointless visuals. The plot is difficult to review, because that would require analysing something that doesn't exist.
I watch a hell of a lot of television. Episode two could be the best acting I've seen! The entire cast was brilliant. The characters magnificent. I think we're witnessing something special.
