It's really sad to see people coming in here just to hate on this show, even the good reviews are filled with dislikes, why can you just let people enjoy things? Yes, this season is not as perfect as the first one, and I do agree it should have been longer, the potential was right there I don't really understand why the rushed it. But in no way or form this is a bad series. I'm so excited that I've gotten to see these characters on the screen, this is such an interesting story.
The production design, the settings, all of the performances are just great. I really hope season three comes sooner than later. I understand some of the frustrations than fans of the game have, but I do believe as well it comes to a point where you need to just let it go. Even the writer of the original story cares deeply for this show, maybe it needed to be different and that's fine.
This episode had a lot of action going on and I felt I was right there with Ellie. No matter what people say, she's still a very dear character to many of us and we do appreciate this season.

I just finished this film and I have to say I'm surprised reading some of the bad reviews about it, I know film perception is subjective but I don't understand how someone could dislike this film. It was so interesting to me, and the thing is, nothing big really happens, you just follow these two cousins along their trip, it's normal, it's almost casual. There are not going to explain everything to you because there's no need for it. We have access to the superficial, to the bare minimum because that how the characters relate to each other, there so much they don't understand and so much that they don't say. The performances are all incredibly, especially Culkin. I was left crying by the end. Maybe you need to have dealt with depression to connect with it more. Maybe you need to have seen someone you love survive (or not) this painful illness. But I'm happy for this type of movies to exist. This stories also need to be told. As rare and unfitted for some people may seem.
