Oh yes. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is without a doubt one the best, if not, the very best SpongeBob video game of all time. It gets everything right. It captures all the fun excitement of the show as well as many of the the neat features of a platform game. The features three playable characters: Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, and of course the man himself, SpongeBob SquarePants. Each character has his/her own unique abilities. The levels and environments are splendid. The Mermalair is my favorite. It's amazing how they've captured and created some of greatest settings from the show. The gameplay is excellent as well. Here, you save Bikini Bottom fro evil robots created by the dreaded Plankton. I've beaten it several time. So, it undoubtedly has tremendous replay value. As far as difficulty goes, it's not too high. It's certainly not as the movie game. I find that one to be the most difficult. But if you like platformers, you'll like this one. Even non-SpongeBob get a kick out of it. If that doesn't make it the greatest SpongeBob game, I don't know what will. SSBFBB wins 1st place!

I've played quite a few SpongeBob games. This one would probably be most challenging. It certainly is fun, but each level is more difficult than the last. Luckily, SpongeBob and Patrick, the two playable characters, can obtain manly points and redeem them for upgrades. You might think you won't need the upgrades. But trust me, you will. It's virtually impossible to beat without them. It's fun, but some parts do require some patience. The patty wagon can be difficult the drive as well. It can slip and slide and it also has a health capacity which unfortunately cannot be increased. I don't mean to make the game sound like a nightmare, but it can be tough. It's still fun and exciting. I've beaten the console version a number of times, so it certainly has great replay value. I recommend it if you're a fan of SpongeBob and video games. But do be aware that it's not always a walk in the park. I find it to be the most difficult SpongeBob games but still one of the best. Give it a chance, I don't think you'll be too disappointed.

Ah yes, The Country Bears. This movie is one my childhood favorites. I saw it when first came out in theaters back in 2002. I also got the movie on VHS and still watched it from time to time, even on the road with my family's portable VCR. Then one day I donated the tape think I had outgrown the movie and was never going to want to watch it again. Big mistake. So, some years later I bought another VHS copy and I haven't let it go since.

I've always enjoyed this movie. It wasn't until years and years later though that I learned how this movie got such a poor reception from critics and audiences. Such a shame that it didn't make any money at the box office either. Maybe it made some more in video and soundtrack sales hopefully. Honestly, I believe it deserved better. Maybe it's the not best, but it's really not half bad either. A lot of people just aren't very fond of movies like these. Especially with huge puppets resembling grizzly bears. But rest assured, the bears are friendly and don't bite. I suppose it is kind of "out there." But wasn't also the original Country Bear Jamboree theme park attraction from Disney world and Disney land. Isn't that what greatly made it so fun to watch to begin with. Then again, adapting it to an hour and a half movie doesn't always work but it does for me. It's not bad, just rather different.

I hate to see that this movie only has as of now a 4.2/10. This movie deserves a 6.5/10 at least. Come on, doesn't everybody find animal bands amusing. If not, perhaps you'll enjoy Christopher Walken's performance. Some people can't stand it, but I sure can. I'm glad this movie was made. I'm glad there is movie out there with anthropomorphic bears and I'm glad they play together in a band and make country music. Yes, I am glad the Country Bears exist as it remains a tremendous gem from my childhood.

All and all, I enjoy this movie. Even if you don't, you might enjoy the soundtrack. I still like it. Of course, I've only seen the theatrical and VHS versions of the film. I hope if I ever watch the DVD version that it won't change my perspective of the movie.
