Great cast, hair, makeup, clothes, sets are true to the period! The stories of the women are so true and heartfelt, wonderful storytelling! And to those people who think, for some reason, that people didn't talk "that way", do you think that the movies made in the actual 1940's accurately portrayed real life and people really spoke like that????? They did not! Life wasn't a frickin disney movie! Swearing, smoking, drinking etc was just as popular then as now!!!
