  • The funniest, hearttouching Predator film, if not the most Badass

Saw Predator: BADLAND last night and grateful to finally have seen a movie that pleased me so thoroughly!! You never expect to get a laugh out of a predator movie but finding a way to turn the Predator into the protagonist has worked wonders. And to support is the extremely adorable and hot Elle Fanning girl!! Plus a supporting creature that gently finds it own way into the hearts of audience, to my delightful surprise!! Despite the thrilling, fast-action pace, the story and characterization is masterfully maneuvered to quickly get audiences in love with this new predator and Elle fanning. A movie to enjoy on its own even if it doesn't fully live up to its extremely promising, high expectations and world building prospects.

Yes, the film is a truly enjoyable action-packed entry into this generally horror/sci-fi skewing film series but this time with the directors commendable mastery over the Predator lore and mythology in connection to ALIEN series, we get a movie that tells its own remarkable, hearttouching little story in a generally hostile universe that tends to disregard heroism and kindness.

Good thing the Predator even if looking like the "KSI JJ Olatunji" WAS SOOO BADASS!! His sword moves were so cool!! I enjoyed this movie so much!! Leave it to Dan Tratchenberg to leave us on a thrilling/jaw dropping/ mind-blowing cliffhanger the way he did with predator piller of PILLER!! 💚 He seems to excel at doing things the audiences would never have expected!! Part of what makes Predator BADLAND so good, because even the surprises have some genius level of foundation to them!

Its last act even takes cues from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first one!! For a film subtitled BADLAND, being on a hostile alien planet, its impressive how much of it was hospitable. Absolutely Loved this movie! So excited for what happens next and how Arnold himself would be involved in this new era of Predator and ALIEN! 2:53am-3:15am.

  • Bleak yet eerily cool 3D BLAME! adaptation

Taciturn badass MC in a post-apocalyptic techno world.... Finally saw netfix's BLAME! (2017) tonight after 8 years since Felix talked about it in 2017, and I appreciate that I can at least understand the plot this time compared to the BLAME!(2003) episode where the random flashes of bizarre highly stylized clips were almost unintelligible... The world in BLAME! Is quite bleak and texhnolyzed much like the even grimmer madhouse anime, and the main character Kiri is just as stoic and badass, his enigmaticness and serious personality leaves a cold scary, mysterious air around him. The 3d action and high-tech interface effects were quite strikingly impressive but also could be overbearing trying to understand what the text means.

The plot is also cut-short in a way, as things are seemingly left unresolved leaving us to question what may happen next. Most of the supporting cast of surviving humans is respectable for their intelligence.

Its a good post-apocalyptic type movie that follows a very specific personalized version of a techno-apocalypse in which humans are hunted by creepy robots for unknown reasons and a history leading to this state of the world that never really gets explained. I suppose that adds to the mystery bleak atmosphere of this BLAME! Story. 8:32am - 8:47am, 28.10.2025

*MILD SPOILER COMMENTS ON FILM* Kiri is one stoic badass. I love how he didnt speak that much at all. I realized every time he shoots the piano theme remind of a Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne OST! 1:01:39 The "Shibo" girl was soo dumb-funny and hot as well as the 13:35, 26:40 & 1:05:16 little busty Zuru girl 🤣 and 1:23:14 the sexyy killer robot girl at end fighting Kiri 😍🖤🔥 But the ending made me so confused! Is that Zuru's granddaughter or older Zuru?!! I hope its just older Zuru, I don't want so much time to have passed... 😭 And will Kiri ever find the Net Terminal Gene?? Did what we see in Blame! (2003) before or after this!? So many questions but I like the weird techno world... And if there is no trees then how they get oxygen! 😭 Is it just far beyond the city boundaries...? I guess we see some sort of barren outskirts in Blame! (2003) Wonder what happens next... 7:55am 28.10.2025 1:20:40 this punch by Kiri to the hot killer robot girl was so badass 🔥 As well as 1:25:30 and 1:26:57. Then 1:22:56 both Kiri and the girl battered and getting up with the moody punk music was so cool 😍🔥 This BLAME! Film was quite the moody action film with some creepy mysterious robots and even hopeful moments to see them get food 😭 8:15am 28.10.2025.

  • Too stylishly abstract while aesthetically technological, weird without Texhnolyze's explanation but a crazy banger ending song

Just watched this BLAME! And it was a little too indulgent in its bizarreness. Either that was something really deep and abstract or the creators cherrypicked some moments from the source material into whatever creepy montage this was... 🤣 But Very impressed by how abstract, technologically detailed and weird it was!! The ending song playing at end of every log kind of banged the sound effects were pretty scary!! Especially the lift sliding with the electric screech! ⚡😖 the girls were hot even this Silicon Creature girl 6:48 the way she walked, 11:28 she was also hot and 12:03 this "female?" body attached to the technology was interesting. I like the main BLAME! Guy the most even though he didnt say anything... Definitely, that was like Texhnolyze. Hope the next adaptations explain it better. The Netsphere sounds like internet. 7:56am 27.10.2025.
