What the h*ll was that? I'm a great fan of David Mitchell (Upstart Crow was sublime as is Ludwig) but this series was execrable. I never got past the first two sketches.
When will comedians learn that repeated use of swear words loses its efficacy to make the point? The odd one here and there adds weight to the joke/ punchline but continued use soon becomes tiresome.
What a shame.

What an amazing programme. Sharks are much maligned and I hope this series goes some way to redress our attitude. They are the apex predators of the ocean, helping to keep the balance. It's humans that are the problem. I really hope these celebrities will become ambassadors for this species and help sharks (and thus all marine life) to populate the oceans and keep them healthy.
It is a shame about the language used - and I completely understand why - but it means the series can't really be shown to children which is a pity because it would help youngsters to appreciate how important the oceans and the life in them is.

I have recently discovered Travelers and was hooked from the start. I have been bingeing ( my excuse is that we're having a heat wave and it's too hot to do anything much). I have loved every episode...until this one. By the third iteration, I'd had enough but stayed with it just to see how it panned out. Too much repetition and plot holes abound.
If you want to see good Groundhog Day stories, please try Stargate: SG1 Window of Opportunity and Star Trek: TNG Cause and Effect. There is repetition, of course, but each scenario is entertaining and builds on the one before to tell the story. Travelers, take note!
