45 years after its release this movie has finally reached peak relevance. Forget the gossip and rumors. Despite all the behind the scenes stories this is the great American film.

Is it my favorite movie? Not by a long shot. Is it a thrill ride? Parts of it are. But the misunderstandings and dismissal are totally out of proportion with the result. I wish it were twice as long. If film technology existed at the time this takes place a film would look a lot like this. The tragedy is that is in the US are reliving this story in real time. It's to America's blind spot they they would not appreciate the truths about capitalism, xenophobia, and nationalism when this came out. Honestly it's too good to be understood by the masses.

Don't get sidetracked by the salacious trivia column. This film depicts America's past, present, and future. If only we had the guts to watch it as a learning experience.

Very surprised and unexpectedly impressed by this movie. I was expecting that at some point they would drop the existential premise for cheap laughs or a *choke* heart warming message. Well I enjoyed the laffs and the message was there but it was happily under the radar.

I don't want to overstate this fact but this movie works on multiple levels. I'm a bit reluctant to call it a soon-to-be classic as only time will tell. However this is a smart AF film. Good job on the cast and crew. Not sure if this will appeal to the masses but the real ones will dig this. Great cast and story. Highly recommended.
