A sequel that shouldn't have been made. I hd hoped this could have been as entertaining as the first movie but it wasn't to be. Ropey plot, poor ending, and I ended up not really caring about the fate of the team. I hope they don't bother with a 3rd film - I'll remember the first one but not this steaming pile.

I had low expectations for this film but the first 45 minutes or so were pleasantly surprising. Lots of memories and nods to the first film and a few laugh out loud moments. A solid 4/5 so far, but unfortunately the second half is a bit of a let down. Not particularly funny, the plot weakens and whilst it's a decent enough ending the whole film doesn't rate more than a 4/10 for me. A decent effort but to much of the second half lands in a big bunker.

The first 2 episodes contain an unrealistic/unbelievable plot and some characters who, in real life, would never get past the entrance exam to the Police. The only decent character was Akram. It is difficult to find any sympathy with the characters apart from him. The prison is so far fetched, the care home so unbelievable and the events leading up to a disappearance that I was really disappointed. Line of Duty or Life on Mars it aint. I might watch another episode or 2 in the vague hope that the series can redeem itself but on first showing I think I've seen enough and it looks like Netflix have dropped the ball on what could have been something very good.
