The show actually started off pretty well. The writing felt sharp, the characters seemed layered and interesting, and it gave the impression that it was building toward something big. I was into it. But as the show went on, instead of things ramping up, everything just kind of... fizzled out. The pacing got weirdly slow, the plot started making less and less sense, and the characters, who some were originally portrayed as smart and aware, started acting like they had no clue what was going on around them.
It's like the writers forgot who these people were supposed to be. You're led to believe a couple of them are brilliant or always one step ahead, but then they start making decisions that completely contradict that. And the more it happens, the harder it is to stay invested. You keep waiting for the payoff, for the big twist, or even just a solid explanation, but instead it just piles on more confusion and dumb choices.
By the end, I was more frustrated than anything. It's one of those shows where you feel like you could've skipped half of it and not missed much. And to make it worse, it doesn't even try to do anything new. It just rehashes stuff we've seen before from other shows, but without the same level of boldness or creativity. A real letdown.
